Set 1

Start off your Oktoberfest evening with a brew crafted in this very building by the Engineering Society of Baltimore’s Craft Brewing Society. Their Oktoberfest: Maerzen Style is an amber that is rich in malt with a balance of clean, hop bitterness, toasted bread or biscuit-like malt aroma and flavor. Raise your glass to the lilting tune of Vilja and the iconic drinking songs that follow!

Vilja - The Merry Widow, Léhar
Ah quel diner... - La Périchole, Offenbach
Als Büblein klein - Falstaff, Verdi

Set 2

These characters may be lucky in love... or not - but either way, you've got a great beer! Sip this Hofbrau – Oktoberfest: Fest Style pour that is straw-colored, full-bodied, and nicely palatable. This beer has a slightly sweet finish, just like the last piece in this set, the sassy "Who'll Buy!"

O, Pallida - L'amico Fritz, Mascagni
Madamina, il catalogo è questo - Don Giovanni, Mozart
Wie du warst - Der Rosenkavalier, Strauss
Who'll Buy - Lost in the Stars, Weill

Set 3

Enjoy this series of classic German vocal treats that pairs perfectly with the ESB Craft Brewing Society's 'Janet’s Brown Ale,' a scrumptious hoppy American Brown with notes of chocolate and caramel, an earthy/grassy hoppy aroma, and long dry/slightly bitter finish.

Bin ich nun frei - Das Rheingold, Wagner
Zuiegnung - 8 Gedichte aus "Letzte Blätter", Strauss
Liebst du um schoenheit - Ruckert-Lieder, Mahler
Marietta's Lied - Die Tote Stadt, Korngold
Mögst du mein kind - The Flying Dutchman, Wagner

Set 4

Sometimes the unexpected element just makes the evening! These next performances celebrate the special joy these particular artists bring to the stage. Sip the satisfying combinations of flavors in our last brew - Dogfish Head Punkin: A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin, brown sugar & spice - everything nice!

My lodging is the cellar here - traditional German drinking song
Maybe this time - Cabaret, Kander and Ebb
A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes - Cinderella, David
Der Hölle Rache - The Magic Flute, Mozart
Ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit - traditional German drinking song
