Meet the artists
Daniel Rich, baritone
Baltimore-born baritone Daniel Rich is an acclaimed performer whose career spans leading opera houses and concert stages. A graduate of the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, Rich has brought his personal and artistic history to Opera Baltimore’s Voices in Solidarity recitals and will sing the titular role in Macbeth this season.
Colleen Daly, soprano
Local legend Colleen Daly dazzles both regional and national audiences with her portrayals of opera’s leading ladies and great concert works. Vital to Maryland’s arts community, Daly brings hometown warmth to every performance, including the role of Dido in Dido and Aeneas, which will cap Opera Baltimore’s '26-27 season.
Edward Graves, tenor
Maryland native and graduate of San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program and Adler Fellowship, Edward Graves effortlessly sings repertoire from Baroque to Contemporary. He will return to Opera Baltimore this season as Macduff in Macbeth, bringing a connection to both Baltimore’s community and the national opera stage.
Rhys Burgess, pianist*
Pianist and opera coach Rhys Burgess is integral to opera in Baltimore, having served as a cover pianist during Opera Baltimore’s '25-26 season and vocal coach at Peabody Conservatory Opera Theatre. *Burgess will play for Fall for Opera’s September 10th performance.
