Baltimore’s winter party, reimagined.
The Opera Ball steps into a bold new chapter as a Masked Ball, inspired by the Carnival traditions woven through Lucrezia Borgia. This is a high-glam, lively night built for dancing, mingling, and celebration. Masks are optional. And if you change your mind about joining the masquerade when you get to the Ball, we'll have some on hand for you.
There is no seated dinner at the Opera Ball. This night belongs to movement, music, and the joy of being together. (If you’re interested in a seated dinner, please scroll down the page to learn more about our Gilded Age Dinner.)

About Opera Baltimore
Opera Baltimore creates a thrilling, meaningful shared experience between our artists and audiences. Our vision to Build Community through Opera takes us from the traditional opera stage to outdoor venues, from pre-schools to retirement communities, from church lawns to libraries. Founded in 2009 as Baltimore Concert Opera, the company was renamed Opera Baltimore in 2022, establishing a new commitment to expanded offerings which include fully-staged opera in addition to our already successful concert operas, audience development, civic practice and education programs.
