These artists know how to light up a room
Daniel Scofield — Commanding and charismatic, his baritone resonates with both finesse and power. He returns to Opera Baltimore after a riveting turn in the title role of Eugene Onegin last season, where his magnetic presence left a lasting impression.
Emily Margevich — A rising star with undeniable allure, she lit up the stage last fall as our radiant Musetta in La bohème, following her deeply moving portrayal of Tatiana in Eugene Onegin the previous season. Her artistry is nuanced and arresting—and she returns to our audience with even greater fire.
Joy Schreier — A pianist of exceptional artistry and elegance, her playing radiates warmth and insight. Since The Consul (2019), she has been a cherished musical presence at Opera Baltimore, from stirring performances in many of our productions to effervescent appearances at Thirsty Thursdays, galas, and season celebrations.
