Voices in Solidarity: Sing, Skate, Celebrate!

Join us for FREE at the Shake and Bake Family Fun Center on Saturday, June 6th, from 5-7pm for an evening exploration of Baltimore’s Black and Jewish History through music, storytelling, skating, and a special traveling artifact display from the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture exploring Baltimore’s histories of resilience and cultural connection.

This event is part of our civic project Voices in Solidarity: Baltimore’s Black and Jewish Operatic History. Voices in Solidarity is a place-based initiative focused on exploring the shared histories of Baltimore’s Black and Jewish communities through music and public discourse to encourage empathy and creative healing. The project is generously supported by State funds from the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority and grant funds from the Reginald F. Lewis Foundation and the David and Barbara B. Hirschhorn Foundation.
