Marissa Elizabeth Perri is a Philadelphia native passionate about supporting and sustaining the performing arts both onstage and behind the scenes. Her admiration for Opera Baltimore began in 2023 when she attended their Fall for Opera series, dedicated to community engagement and making opera accessible. She completed her master’s degree in Opera Performance at the Peabody Conservatory in 2025, which connected her with Opera Baltimore through the Peabody Internship Pathways Program. In 2026, Marissa stepped into the role of Office Coordinator and continues to be a welcoming presence in the front of house during performances.

As a singer, Marissa is an emerging light lyric coloratura. She appeared in the chorus of Tosca with Opera Baltimore and Opera Delaware in 2025. Additional credits include Rossignol in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, Constance in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, covering Zerbinetta in Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos, and an upcoming debut as La Fée in Cendrillon. Marissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Opera Performance from Penn State University in 2023 under the tutelage of Rachel E. Copeland and currently studies with Randall Scarlata.

She also serves as Operations Manager and Librarian for the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. Through her dual career as an artist and administrator, Marissa is committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where audiences can experience opera, helping ensure the longevity and relevance of the art form.
